New garden progress… well not so new really. Some of these shots are already inaccurate. We’ve now torn up the front lawn entirely and planted corn! I’m going to do a few boring rows and some Three Sisters plantings, and see what works better. I also have okra, squash, beans, and marigold sprouts ready to transplant. I love sprouting seeds, it’s so exciting and you get free plants :D
My well-meaning SO has also brought home a bunch of useless, apparently dangerous flowering pears. Unlikely to fruit, but lots of potential to fall on houses/cars/people. Joy XD
I also went to a local organic nursery - it was gardening heaven and I am a broke-ass college student, but I am definitely returning there to get seeds and useful information - everyone was so kind and informative and I got to find out all the stupid things I’ve done XD
